I visited this morning (New Year’s Eve) with my daughter and grandchildren. Ian very kindly waited for us, then told us the wonderful story about the distillery and its history both illegal and (now) legal. The rum is terrific, and the gin even more so. My New Year’s Eve is looking better and better…

we REALLY enjoyed our stay at your gorgeous place, really cosy, with fantastic amenities, a lovely surprise with a little welcome pack of gin and mixes, some lovely breakfast items and decent coffee! A lovely area with plenty of food choices all within a 10 ish minute drive, also some lovely bars not too far away and if you’re venturing into London or anywhere on the underground, the closest tube station is a 10-minute walk away. The shower was amazing and a comfy bed too – couldn’t have asked for more…we will definitely recommend it to our own friends as well as anyone who is thinking of staying here, we will definitely be returning when we can! Thank you again for a really lovely place to stay at the end of some busy days while in London! Mandy and Garry Xx

Mandy

Amazing value for money, the place is very clean and really well designed. A lot of effort from Ian. Would definitely come back again.

Christopher

FANTASTIC!!!
If you want somewhere that is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, yet easily accessible enough then this property is not to be overlooked.
The modern decor added a real homely feel, with a cool quirky gin distillery literally next door it was our little hideout for the weekend.

Just a short 10 minute walk to Bounds Green station and the owner kindly put food in the fridge and teabags in the cupboards which actually covered our breakfast for all three nights.
We even had access to Netflix too which was a bonus for our night in!

Throughly enjoyed and definitely recommend!

Simon

The Grain Store is a delight to stay in. Clean, stylish and welcoming. The little extras of a bottle of their own gin and fresh goodies for breakfast are an added bonus. Hugely recommend this place.

This is a genuinely unique place to stay in London which offers an incredible experience for an extremely reasonable price.

Ian is a wonderful host who went out of his way to make this stay both special and homely. The place has absolutely everything you could possibly need and there were plenty of extra touches which made it a really memorable experience.

I can’t recommend this place highly enough and am looking forward to returning the next time I’m in London.

Tom

An absolute gem of a space. Clean, cosy, and homey; it made for a perfect place to end the day for my wife and me after long days of exploring London. The history of the place is so interesting too!

Ian was absolutely amazing as well, the best host we have ever had. Excellent communication and hospitality, with lots of cool stories about the history around the space.

Ian and his space truly helped make our first overseas vacation in two years one of our best.

David

The place was amazing, exactly as detailed. Details were shared on (Hidden by Airbnb) so make sure your phone is up to date. The small gift and well stocked fridge makes this the best airBNb yet.

Don

This place is a total gem- cosy with a bus stop within 5 minutes walk, well equipped and loved the extra little touches like the gin and breakfast supplies! absolutely great 🙂

Cleo

Becky

Ian was super accommodating and generous from the start. He kindly left us lots of bits for breakfast plus a bottle of their own gin along with some trimmings and a recipe of their signature G&T! A really nice bonus. Ian’s place with bright, clean and homey in a lovely little side-road. Their gin distillery is located on the same road (don’t worry, we never noticed any noise!) and my boyfriend bumped into one of the nice distillery owners there and had a little chat. They even offered to show us round their distillery! In short, we had a really comfortable stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Emma
